September 8 of each year has been established as being Aid-worker Day as a way to recognize the work of the more than 2,800 workers who carry out aid work in developing countries.<\/h3>\n

Madrid, August 8, 2018<\/strong>. On the occasion of the Millennium Declaration signed in 2000, 189 countries agreed to establish a day in honor of all people displaced to a developing country where they need professional help for a project.<\/p>\n

Development Cooperation<\/strong> has evolved by leaps and bounds over the last 25 years. At the beginning of the century the sector was professionalized and a demand for a wide range of profiles to cover various job offers was created. Masters<\/strong> began to be taught on the subject in universities, which created specialists in cooperation; it is necessary to be very educated and have a passion for cooperation in order to dedicate oneself to this profession.<\/p>\n

There are also numerous ways to help in non-profit organizations; Many of them require volunteers at headquarters or for occasional trips for a \u00a0specific project. These are stays of a few months where one can join the local team to collaborate on specific activities.<\/p>\n
