Health Center of Kiwere Ward<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

We have completed the Water Supply Project for the Kiwere Ward Health Center and the sub-village of Ikingo.<\/p>\n\n

The health center in Kiwere Ward, built between January 2021 and September 2022, aims primarily to serve the community of Kiwere. This community has a population of approximately 11,000 people and consists of around 3,800 households.<\/p>\n\n

Despite its official inauguration on September 5, 2022, the health center faced significant challenges in starting its operations. The lack of essential services such as water and electricity prevented the center from providing much-needed healthcare services to the community.<\/p>\n\n

The project enabled the drilling of a well, the construction of a sturdy structure for the water tank, the installation of water connections, and the provision of electricity to the health center. These improvements have transformed the operations of the center. Before this intervention, due to the lack of water, the health center could not offer maternal health services or laboratory tests. However, these services are now being provided.<\/p>\n\n

Furthermore, due to the increasing number of patients treated at the health center, the government has provided a new ambulance. This ambulance will facilitate the fast and safe transportation of patients in need of specialized care.<\/p>\n\n

Additionally, the project included drilling a new well in the sub-village of Ikingo in Kitapilimwa. This well now serves approximately 500 residents, providing them with a reliable and clean water supply.<\/p>\n\n

Lastly, project funds also enabled the purchase of construction materials for toilets at a small health center in the village of Mgera, which had not commenced operations due to the lack of bathrooms.<\/p>\n\n

Thanks to the donations that made this project possible, these communities now have access to essential health services and a constant water supply, significantly improving their quality of life.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
