Fernanda Serrano Noreña

Fernanda Serrano, an agricultural engineer, obtained her bachelor’s degree in 1988 and, in 1991, completed her Master’s degree in European Communities at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Subsequently, in 2007, she obtained a Master’s degree in Cooperation for Sustainable Development and Humanitarian Aid at the Comillas Pontifical University.
Her professional career began at the Agrofuturo Association, where she held the position of General Director from May 1991 to December 1996. Between 1999 and 2001, she held the role of Manager at the Technological Institute for Agrarian Development (ITDA), and between 2001 and 2003, she assumed the position of General Director at the Patronato Madrileño de Áreas de Montaña (PAMAM). During the period from 2003 to 2005, she held the position of General Director of Public Roads and Urban Equipment at the Madrid City Council, and from 2008 to 2014, she led the Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente Foundation. Since 2016, she has served as President and Executive Director of the Sociedad Agraria de Transformación Agropecuaria “El Monte”.
