Ihanzutwa-Cooperative Program (1.500 m)

Location and country: Ihanzutwa (Iringa Region), Tanzania. 1,500 meters high

The program aims at socioeconomic development through the improvement of agricultural production, the promotion of commercialization and the strengthening of the associative fabric of the Sadani Division, Iringa Region. In its first phases, the program has focused on the strengthening of a second-degree cooperative formed by 269 members grouped into 18 groups; the establishment of 18 communal gardens with drip irrigation and training in agricultural techniques and management of cooperatives.
