AUDIT

Our annual accounts, duly audited, are published on the website together with the corresponding annual report.

Every September the audit of the previous year will be published, both of our headquarters and of the local counterpart of ASF in Tanzania. The receipt of funds requires strict control and justification of the use of funds and the implementation of projects.

In addition to the audits, ASF has an accounting program in which the situation of the accounts is justified at all times. All financial management requires the authorization of the Country Director and the Head Office Management before its execution, ordered by an administrator.

LEGAL REGIME

The Foundation Agrónomos sin Fronteras (Agronomists Without Borders) is an NGO with its headquarters in Madrid, it was created in 2004 by professionals of agronomy with the objective of collaborating for the improvement of subsistence agriculture in developing countries.

The foundation was first registered in Tanzania as International Civil Society Organization then re-registered as International Non-Government Organization in 2019 with its country office located in Iringa Municipal. During its 17 years of existence, the Foundation has focused on carrying out projects in Tanzania that would allow the rural farmers to improve the productivity of their crops and, therefore, the income of their families.

CODE OF CONDUCT

ASF has a Code of Ethics and Conduct, translated into English and Swahili, as well as its own Human Resources Manual.

From the board of directors, an exhaustive control of the fulfillment of these codes is made, advising and orienting the workers of the organization; analyzing the most probable risks and proposing solutions to them.

CARE OF THE ENVIRONMENT

The Foundation intends to collaborate in the care of the environment, always making a transversal approach in the projects that include this variable. The aim is to avoid environmental and climatic risks, ensuring that the technologies put in place are appropriate.
